The “make yourself comfortable” Biography
At the age of 8 Jim heard a girl in school assembly playing the “Wombles of Wimbledon“ on the clarinet. He immediately took up the clarinet in a bid to recreate the masterpiece. At the age of 14 he wanted to try something a little cooler and moved to the saxophone achieving his grade 8, four years later. At around the same time he started playing the electric guitar in a bid to emulate his idols Guns
and Roses. Unfortunately, soon after, he severed the nerves and tendons in his left hand in a horrendous break dancing incident. This set him back but after some healing and physiotherapy he continued
his music, this time on an acoustic guitar and inspired by the MTV Unplugged sessions of Eric
Clapton. Over the years he has also added percussion and drums to the list of instruments played.
Since that first gig in October 2007, Jim has made it his mission to develop himself as a successful
independent artist and has spent his time gigging and writing.
As well as promoting his debut EP Jim is preparing the release of his next EP "Show Your Love" due to be released on 14th February
2010.
"It's nothing to be ashamed of - writing catchy tunes." HAYDN BENDALL - Producer/Mixer/Engineer
